About Me
Oh hey there! I'm Kayla and I am honored you clicked on this page to learn a little about me and my art! I am a proud Minnesotan, born-and-raised. My second home is a small town in Wisconsin, where I went to college and discovered paint pouring! I would tip my mattress up against the wall in my tiny basement bedroom to have room for it! Now I live in St.Paul, MN and I have built a little studio in the corner of my bedroom to make art for you to hang on your wall, send to a loved one, or add to your art collection!
About my Art
Acrylic Paint Pouring is a method of fluid painting in which acrylic paint is combined with a pouring medium to make the paint flow, sometimes water is added to make it even thinner depending on the final look that is trying to be achieved. Then combining the colors or pouring them directly on a surface and tilting it all around to get the look of flowing colors. I sometimes add silicone oil to my colors to get a bit more color separation and some cells or bubbles!
